Friday Special Screening of “Haunt Season”
The Midwest Haunters Convention is pleased to present HAUNT SEASON at 3:00 pm on Friday, which was filmed at Chicago’s own Realm of Terror and features several Chicago haunters!
In attendance will be several members of the cast & crew (who will be on-hand after the screening for a Q&A), including:

SYNOPSIS: Recent theater school alum Matilda is so desperate for any kind of acting job that she takes a position in a Halloween haunt attraction as a scalped woman. As she’s introduced to the wide variety of weird and wonderful characters that populate the haunt world, a costumed killer picks off cast members one by one. Every new kill is modeled after the fake injuries that the actors wear for the haunted house–someone dressed as a morgue cadaver has their heart torn out, a decapitated football player has his head chopped off–turning their twisted Halloween fictions into gory reality. On Halloween night, the killer finally reveals themself and unleashes a whirlwind of violence on anyone visiting the haunt, cast members and customers alike, bringing the terrifying sacrificial origins of All Hallows Eve into the modern-day. Matilda and her coven of spooky new friends must band together if they hope to survive the night.
