Buses will depart the , 5500 North River Rd, Rosemont IL, 60018 at 7:00am on Thursday, June 8, 2023, and will include a light breakfast, and full lunch and dinner. Transportation will be on coach buses and will include multiple rest stops with an anticipated return time to the convention center by 1:45am or earlier on Friday, June 9, 2023.- Please do NOT be late.. we can not hold the buses!
This year’s MHC Pre-Convention Haunt Tour treats guests to three nationally-known haunted attractions located in the shadows of Detroit, Michigan. On Thursday, June 8, 2023, MHC guests will receive round-trip coach bus transportation from Rosemont, Illinois, into the mouth of madness!

The Pre-Convention Haunted House Bus Tour can be purchased either WITH or WITHOUT a Bus Ride.
Price With the Bus Ride is $375 per person. Without the Bus Ride (drive yourself) is $295 per person.
Prices increase after May 25th to $395 With the Bus Ride, and $315 Without the Bus Ride.

Starting off our journey, we will enter the hallowed grounds of Hush Haunted Attraction. Boasting over 40,000 square feet of darkness, Hush has THREE different haunted attractions: Belly of the Beast, Louisiana Catacombs, and Rosecliff Hall Haunted Mansion. In addition to the three haunted attractions there are THREE different secret bars: Voodoo Blues, Expedition Basecamp, and the Von Rose Distillery. Our guests will refuel with some food in the Hush Falls Midway, and leave no stone unturned as the adventure advances! ( Enjoy a full Haunt Tour with actors).
Our second deadly destination drops us off at the doorstep of Eloise Asylum. Housed inside the former Eloise Psychiatric Hospital that operated from 1839 until 1982, Eloise Asylum relinquishes guests into insanity with over 30,000 square feet of a haunted experience like no other! Get ready to come face-to-face with some of the evil and sinister history that lies within the walls of Eloise! ( Enjoy a full Haunt Tour with actors).
Our final destination brings our lifeless corpses to the monster that anyone in the industry knows by one name: Erebus. Open since 2000, Erebus Haunted Attraction is one of the most talked about haunted attractions in the country, if not the world! Holding the Guinness World Record for the largest walk-through haunted attraction from 2005-2009, Erebus occupies over 100,000 square feet and 4 stories of scares! Come be a part of history, try to stay alive, experience the legend, and get your steps in as this tour is over a half-mile long! Dinner will be served at the Haunted House and followed by Q&A with the owners of Erebus. Enjoy a full haunt tour (partially staffed)!
Then see the awesome, the odd and wondrous at Mythos Curiosity Museum, located next door to Erebus Haunted Attraction.
- See the skulls of dinosaurs and many beasts of days gone by!
- There’s vintage macabre mortuary equipment and “the tools of the trade” of death, alongside real human skeletons and ceremonial coffins.
- Stroll through memory lane in the vintage Halloween section with hundreds of masks – wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor… along with other horror and monster memorabilia.
