Trade Show Passes:
There’s a $5 admission fee to the trade show for the weekend (good for both Saturday & Sunday). We’ll have over 100 exhibitors available for cash and carry shopping. Buy for your haunt and actors and come prepared for great deals. Free makeup demos on the trade show stage includes artists from the hot SciFi channel program FaceOff and the Bloody Mary Monster Makeup Wars competition is Saturday at 4:30.
Hearse Parking Options:
We have two complimentary parking areas for hearses and custom/haunt vehicles. We’ll have space on the trade show floor for show vehicles parked Friday evening through 4:00 pm Sunday. This space is free, but there are rules to follow. The second option is our outdoor area in-between the Hyatt and the Convention Center (same as last year). When you arrive; pick up a parking pass at registration. If we aren’t at registration when they arrive, then stop by during normal hours. This custom parking lot is reserved for display of vehicles and parking only; no partying or alcohol permitted (City code). Vehicles should not be occupied after dark.
Pre-Bus Tour:
We’re into our 4th Bus with just 40 seats remaining. 2 Days, 10 Haunts, Hotel, Bus & Meals starts at $249. Bob and Beth Turner will head up the last bus. See Haunt Tours tab.
Hotel Options:
We still have rooms at the Sheraton Capital Squaredowntown ($125 per night), about 12 blocks from the convention center. They are offering free shuttle service to/from during limited hours. Cab fare would be minimal too. For hotel reservations call 614-365-4500.
We also set up a room block at the Ramada Inn Plaza about 15-20 minutes away. Rooms are only $79 per night and they are offering a free shuttle (when available) to/from the convention center. If you are going on the pre-bus tour and you check in on Tuesday and are staying through Sunday, they will comp your room on Wednesday (since you won’t be staying in it) so you don’t have to check out and back in; when you return Thursday night from the bus tour. You can also keep trying the Hyatt Regency (our host hotel is $114 per night). They are full, but they do get cancellations now and then and will usually replace them if you call 614-463-1234.
Friday Classes:
What are you doing on Friday? We’ve recruited a team of professional presenters for the day with workshops and seminars: Acting, Makeup and Business classes provide small classroom sizes with hands on opportunities.
Friday Night Haunt Tour:
Wow, they’re selling fast; only 35 tickets left (as of Sunday night) for the Friday night tour to the Scare-A-Torium and the Costume Vault. Buses will depart the Hyatt from 6:00 – 8:30 and return between 9:15 and midnight. Tickets are $25 and include the Shuttle Bus, Scare-A-Torium & Welcome Reception at the Costume Vault.
