Contestants in each category will be judged at 9:30pm on the uniqueness of their concept, quality of costume construction, and makeup:

  • Best Costume
    That one costume of the night that just hits all the right notes, and the hardest one to judge!
  • Scariest Costume
    Unleash your inner beast! That one costume of the night that just hits all the scary notes!
  • Best Group or Couple Costume
    From historic to iconic, duos and groups have a big place in the history of Halloween! Bring your best and you might be next to famous…or infamous!

There is no pre-registration. 

Prizes

Each category’s winner will receive a CASH PRIZE! If the winners are a couple or group in any of the categories, the prize will be split!

Each category’s winner will also receive a 10″ x 8″ metal award plaque courtesy of CU Scared!
